During his 2010 running, Van spearheaded the lawsuit efforts by personally serving papers to the offices of Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid and President Obama in Washington, DC, shown in the video below.
After the election, Van's efforts (along with his amazing wife, Dawn) were drawn to the development of the Liberty Legal Foundation, where they continue to pursue the class action lawsuit with the gain of more that 25,000 plaintiffs. The future details of this case can be found on the Liberty Legal site.
Perhaps even bigger news is that Van and his team have also recently involved themselves in the litigious claim regarding the questionable status of Obama's constitutional requirements as a presidential candidate. Especially important for this upcoming election.

- In a motion filed in the case pending before Georgia Administrative Law Judge Michael Malihi, attorney Van Irion, representing David P. Weldon, urged the court not to overlook the fact that Obama had been subpoenaed for last week’s hearing. Obama’s attorney, he pointed out, acknowledged the subpoena by asking that it be quashed. But when the judge refused his request, he but told a state elections official he would not participate.

Obama automatically inherited his father’s British citizenship upon the British Nationality act of 1948. Upon the declaration of the independence of Kenya on December 11, 1963, Barack Obama automatically received his Kenyan citizenship on December 12, 1963.”
