Hair Cut Time

So sad to report....I had to do it.

That beautiful, blonde, full-bodied, baby hair just HAD to be tamed.  Those wild locks of love having had one too many times of overstepping the boundaries.  From crazy bedhead mornings, to funky curly-dos in the middle of the forehead, to complete blinding of the eyes.  It was time.

Funny how the hair has grown faster than the child!  I had forgotten what those first trims were like as it's been about nine years since our oldest boys baby cut.  Lots of wiggles and an impressive gymnastics routine performed by the stylist to keep up.  Poor girl...that's why I do not attempt the firsts at home.  Leaving this task to the qualified professionals.

My little photographers trying their best to capture these exciting moments.

William looking like, "you're going to do what?"

It's a baby make over! Looking much too grown up already.  Took home some fluffy mementos for the ol' scrapbook as well.
