Vaccines and the Immune System

Article below by Dr. Harold Buttram, MD (parts 1 and 2) provides more compelling evidence that vaccines are damaging to the immune system. 

Unfortunately, parents are faced with an information dilemma when deciding whether or not to vaccinate their children.  They want to trust their physicians who are often "like able" and knowledgeable about issues pertaining to their children, but often find themselves on shakey ground whenever voicing concerns over vaccination.

Very few doctors (pediatricians in this case) are obliging to parents who choose to not vaccinate or to choose an alternate schedule, while the majority won't even let a family into their practice.  Though the gap in personalities regarding this discrimination range is wide, most pediatricians WILL have some objection to a parent's decision to alter the current vaccine schedule.  Such a shame, because doctors work for the parents...not the other way around.  

Any health decision should not be made in fear, whether that's to participate or not.  Parents need to educate themselves thoroughly and stay current on vaccine news/research (both from the pro side and the con).  Allowing a doctor to intimidate because you don't know enough to stand ground intellectually is no excuse to concede.  Bully doctors are not your friends and if you as a parent feel confused or attacked then you should leave the office promptly.  If you don't know enough on the subject...then it's time to get informed and stay informed.  Often the best defense to a bully doctor is to simply tell them that your mind is made up and that you will not discuss the issue any more.  Then go home and start researching (and start looking for another doctor), but you don't OWE them any explanation.  Imagine if you were being coerced into something as big as surgery?  Would you comply simply because they said so, or would you get another opinion and check out all options first?  Vaccines are an invasive procedure that come with risks.  Once the research is begun it also becomes apparent that the benefits are negligible and in fact appear to do the opposite... as stated in the article below.  

Your children are your pride and joy.  Whatever intervention you as a parent subject them to should be made with all the facts.  The pressures to vaccinate are huge and often made without a thorough understanding of the subject.  Parents may take a stand only to give in down the road because they have not kept current on the research and have no support system.  Holistic medical practitioners, some religions, books, conferences and numerous sites on the web can provide this support system.  It's up to you though to be armed so that when tested you'll have confirmation that the right decisions were made.  After all, the best and only advocate for your well being is....yourself.  ~ Alice

In what may be the most comprehensive review to date on the pathophysiology of
adverse vaccine reactions, neurosurgeon Russell Blaylock has compiled a mass
of evidence that repeated stimulation of the brain’s immune system results in
intense reactions of microglial and astrocyte cells, which serve as the brain’s
immune system, with each successive series of vaccinations. This is primarily the
result of vaccine adjuvants that are expressly added for this purpose. [1-3]
Although the human immune system is incredibly complex with an immunologic
memory capacity that might challenge modern computer systems, its basic structural components are the
essence of simplicity with a series of defense systems comparable to a medieval castle with an outer mote,
plus outer and inner walls of defense.

The human newborn comes into the world with residual antibodies from the maternal blood stream which, in
the absence of breast feeding, would provide overall immunologic protection for about six months, and for
measles up to 12 months. For those who do choose or are mandated to vaccinate, why not to vaccinate at
five or six months of age rather than compromise and endanger an evolutionary system already in place?
Otherwise the newborn immune system is largely rudimentary, requiring a series of microbe challenges to
become fully functional, a process requiring two or three years. Without these natural challenges the
immune system remains relatively weak and vestigial. This may be the reason that babies are always
putting things in their mouths as an instinctive evolutionary trait similar to mammals in the wild.
