It's Football Time in Tennessee!

Watch out Vols, you have a force to be reckoned with this season...no it's not Florida State, but the fierce Church Hill Raiders, whoo hoo!!!  Noah is playing on our local football league alongside his cousin and two uncle assistant coaches.  He's been begging to play ever since we lived in Knoxville, so now he gets his chance!  Course after the first game against the "renowned" Packers (who ALSO got first picks this year...AND scarfed up all the big ol' boys...but who's keeping score, right?!), were a little intimidated and in need of a "Facing The Giants" pep rally.  Dad and I aren't as interested in all this winning spirit as we are making sure he finishes games with no life threatening injuries...no joke!  It is fun to watch and hopefully will end in a season with lots of new friendships and only a few minor bruises.

The season began with a Jamboree where all the teams were introduced.  Noah being #22 running back, safety or whatever they need him to play on offense and defense.

And here we have the Packer's star running back/wide receiver who is very quick...as you can see #22 has him...

Or...maybe not.  Actually Noah was faster than Caleb during conditioning and perhaps if he had kept his momentum or jumped at him it would have been all over but the shoutin'...#22's working on that!

Ok, so....the Packers have their own cheerleaders as you can see in the green (parent driven of course)...well so do the Raiders, the six ladies below who just so happen to be sisters and cousins.  Us moms had to instruct the girls to please not cheer AT the other cheerleaders, but to shout at the Raiders.  "Let's keep up the good spirit, girls!".
