What do you get when you mix beautiful fall-like weather and lots of energetic little people? The makings for a fantastic Youth Day!! We had the privilege of hosting our church's annual event at our home, engaging the group in the finer points of country living. :)
If we had the bounce house alone, the youth would have been completely content. However, we wanted to really knock their socks off...and challenge them a little too. So, besides ATV riding the youth leaders put together an amazing mountain scavenger hunt! Dividing them into small groups, riding them through the mountain where they encountered not only the posters they made in church for the occasion, but answering challenges leading them to their prizes.

Five ATVs really got their workout. We also delighted in watching Aunt Kathy conquering HER fears. Joe said she about broke his ribs from squeezing so hard. Ha!!

There were ten challenge stations and many prizes to be held. Below is a sample question the older and younger children were encouraged to answer. Besides the tons of food brought, snow cones awaited thirsty adventurers.

We had a turn out of roughly thirty-eight. A great time of fellowship for both little AND grown-up kids alike!!

A huge thanks to the youth leaders for making such a special day for our children.
