August 1st...Vote With Your Dollars

We showed our support for Chick-Fil-A... and so did many of our area!   Huge crowds, traffic guards, very slow moving traffic up and down the road going into the parking lot, long wait lines.  The crowds kept coming for several hours because we went early, on the way to gymnastics class and then drove by several hours afterwards and it was still mobbed.  If this is indicative of every Chick-Fil-A around the country today, the impact was huge!  Message sent.

I witnessed many acts of kindness in the restaurant while people stood shoulder to shoulder waiting to order and  hear their names called for food.  One young man gave up his chair to a pregnant lady while she waited.  Another couple offered two of their booth seats to complete strangers so they could eat.  The couple across from our table could be seen holding hands in prayer.

If Americans would rally together like this on other moral issues besides supporting "natural" marriage, can you imagine the impact on this world?  We would regain our blessings as a nation once again.
