Celebrating the Feast

What an honor to yet again celebrate another year of the Feast of Tabernacles!  This time in Townsend, Tennessee at a beautiful mountain lodge.

Many believers may not be familiar with the seven commanded annual feasts of YHVH (God).  They are largely ignored/unknown by most churches today, due to the unfortunate history of the scattering of the ten tribes throughout the four coroners of the world.  Much of the law (instructions) of YHVH have been lost, relegated to misinterpretations, thought to be only for "the Jews".  The term "Jew" a rather misunderstood term referring to Judah who came back to the southern land of Israel during the diaspora where many remain today.  However, Judah is only a part of the twelve tribes who were given the oracles of YHVH.  The other northern ten tribes (called Israel) were scattered and considered "lost", but they did not just disappear.  These were millions of people who assimilated into pagan nations who eventually forgot not only their true origins, but the name of "God" as prophesied (Jeremiah 23:26-27).  The true name of our creator is YHVH in the Hebrew, the original Holy language which He used to speak this world into existence.

Thankfully, there is an awakening among many today who are rediscovering this heritage as believers in Yahshua (Jesus) and becoming reacquainted with HIS ways. Yahshua lived the "law" (translated "instructions" in Hebrew) perfectly and demonstrated to believers how to live not just in body but in spirit.  These gracious instructions given by YHVH to his creation were never to be done away.

There are seven feasts that YHVH told us were HIS and that he would meet with us:

The spring feasts:  Passover, Unleavened Bread, Pentecost
The fall feasts:  Trumpets, Atonement, Feast of Tabernacles

There is so much to know about these appointed times and especially how they reflect Yahshua in every aspect of his birth, death to his millennial reign soon to come.  It's a wonderful time, and a dress  rehearsal for the life he promised for those who gladly choose to follow.
