Gone Fishin'

One weekend recently, Noah's Uncle Johnny took him fly fishing at the South Holsten River in Bristol, TN.  It was a great time for both with Johnny staying very amused watching and coaching Noah.  Noah, Joe and Johnny have been fishing buddies for years, usually night fishing for Crappie and Blue Gill when we lived in Knoxville.  They'd take our boat to Douglas Lake about an hour away and fish until three of four in the morning.  Joe would clean them and then we'd usually fry them that night for dinner.  Oh, how we miss those yummy days!  They've just recently begun fly fishing to take advantage of some day light fishing.  This particular time Noah caught eight trout!  It's wonderful living so close to family so the children can spend more frequent quality time with extended family.
