Welcome Asher!

Took some time away to visit with some very dear friends.  We also were able to link up with several other friends we had not seen in a while and had such a blessed time...a reunion of sorts. Life being so busy, it's these moments we truly cherish.

Also, on this trip we stayed with one of our homesteading friends who have Pyrenees dogs like we had.  Except theirs aren't inbred like ours were.  I posted a while ago about our dogs and the chicken debacle.  So, we're trying again.  This time with a dog that we know who the parents are and the condition of the puppies since conception.  The wife also worked in dog genetics for ten years and we trust her expertise. They've provided us with videos and pictures along the way so our puppy choices have become more narrowed over the weeks.  We wanted another white Pyrenees (of which there were only two)...so we left with puppy ASHER!

He is eight-weeks old and is used to being around lots of chickens, turkeys, and ducks.  His parents also have an excellent reputation around birds.   So odds are good that Asher will follow suit.

Yup...goofy!

It's the bowl thief!

Baby will NOT take my bowl again.

Hoping that both little ones will have many great moments as they grow together.
